Welcome to Clackamas Ultrazone LLC, also known as Ultrazone. Before participating in laser tag activities, please carefully read the following terms and conditions. By participating in laser tag activities at Ultrazone, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

Summary:

• Follow the rules, be responsible, and enjoy laser tag! Play at your own risk.
• By choosing to participate, you acknowledge this waiver and assume responsibility for your actions.
• Laser tag is not just about winning—it’s about having fun and creating memorable moments. Let’s make every game enjoyable and safe for everyone!

Physical Activity and Environment:

• Laser tag involves physical activity.
• The briefing room, vesting area, and arena are immersive environments with special effects, including dynamic lighting, atmospheric fog, and laser elements.
• To play laser tag, you will navigate ramps, a mirror room, various obstacles, and an elevated platform.
• Laser tag is generally appropriate for ages 5 and up. Each participant must evaluate their capabilities and determine if they can play.

Important Rules:

• No running or crawling.
• No laying on the ground.
• No climbing on arena obstacles or over railings.
• No physical contact.
• Conduct yourself in a safe manner.
• Always follow staff directions.

Code of Conduct:

Positive Play and Sportsmanship:

• All participants should engage in positive and safe play, always demonstrating good sportsmanship during laser tag sessions.
• Respect fellow participants and treat them with kindness and courtesy.
• Play fairly and refrain from cheating or engaging in unsportsmanlike conduct.
• Encourage teamwork and cooperation among teammates.
• Report any instances of unsportsmanlike behavior or rule violations to staff members immediately.

Prohibited Behaviors:

• No verbal or physical abuse towards other participants or staff members.
• No intentional blocking or obstructing of other players' movements.
• No use of offensive language, gestures, or behavior that may offend or intimidate others.
• No tampering with or damaging laser tag equipment or facilities.
• No disruptive behavior that interferes with the enjoyment of other participants or disrupts the game.

Safety Guidelines:

• Always adhere to safety rules and guidelines provided by staff members.
• Report any safety concerns or equipment malfunctions to staff immediately.
• Wear appropriate footwear, such as athletic-style closed-toed shoes with non-slip soles, and attire for laser tag activities to ensure safety and comfort.
• Refrain from running or engaging in reckless behavior that may increase the risk of injury to yourself or others.

Teamwork and Communication:

• Work together with your teammates to strategize and achieve objectives.
• Communicate effectively with your team by using clear and concise commands or signals.
• Support and encourage your teammates, even in challenging situations.

Fair Play:

• Play by the rules and abide by the decisions of staff members regarding gameplay.
• Avoid exploiting loopholes or unfair advantages that may undermine the integrity of the game.
• Accept victory and defeat graciously, showing respect for your opponents regardless of the outcome.

Responsibility and Acknowledgment:

• Safety is everyone's responsibility. Please be vigilant and report any safety concerns to the staff immediately.
• You accept complete responsibility for any injuries to yourself or others.
• You take full responsibility for harm or damage to the premises, facilities, or equipment.
• You acknowledge that laser tag involves inherent risks, including those resulting from the negligence of Ultrazone and its staff.
• Ultrazone and its staff cannot be held responsible for any loss, damage, or injury, including those arising from negligence.
• If you have a medical condition that could be affected by the environmental conditions or exposures, it is recommended not to participate.
• It is your responsibility to ensure you are in suitable physical condition for the activity.
• Parents/Guardians will be responsible for any damages caused by their child or themselves to Ultrazone facilities or equipment.
• It is important to prioritize your safety. If at any time during the activities you do not feel safe or comfortable performing a task or activity, please inform a staff member immediately and refrain from continuing until your concerns are addressed.

Personal Belongings:

• We do not have lockers or any other secured area. Please secure your items by other means. People often leave personal items on a counter or below their vest in the vesting room. However, we cannot guarantee their security. Please be aware that Ultrazone is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

Emergency Procedures:

• In the event of an emergency, participants may exit the building through the two main access doors located near the arcade and snack shack. There are also two emergency exits located in the rear of the building.
• Ultrazone staff are not trained in first aid or medical care. We can provide band-aids and a bag of ice if needed. In the event of a serious injury or emergency event, please call 911. Our address is 16074 SE McLoughlin Blvd, #10, Milwaukie OR 97267.

Indemnification Clause:

• By participating in laser tag activities at Ultrazone, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Clackamas Ultrazone LLC, its owners, employees, and agents from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses, including attorney fees, arising out of or related to your actions or participation in the laser tag activities. This indemnification extends to any claims made by third parties, including other participants, spectators, or guests. However, this indemnification does not apply to claims arising from willful misconduct or intentional acts by Clackamas Ultrazone LLC or its employees.

• While effort is made to provide a safe environment for laser tag activities, you acknowledge that participation involves inherent risks and agree to assume full responsibility for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred during participation.

Food Policy:

• No outside food or drink are allowed unless you have a scheduled party or event.
• You are responsible for the safety of your guests and the condition of the food provided. Please be aware of your guests' dietary restrictions or medical needs.

Refund Policy:

• We do not offer refunds on laser tag games, game passes, camps or event deposits.
• Refunds will be provided in the event that Ultrazone cancels a scheduled event or party.
• Due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions or power outages that prevent opening, parties and events will be rescheduled.
• In the case of accidental double charges, refunds will be issued upon notification.
• Game passes include three games for one person at the same visit. We do not offer refunds for unused game passes or roll unused games to a different day.
• Laser tag is an experiential event. If you leave a game early, a refund will not be provided.

Birthday Party or Special Event Liability:

• Participants hosting or attending birthday parties or special events at Ultrazone acknowledge that additional risks may be present due to the nature of these gatherings.
• Hosts of birthday parties or special events are responsible for the conduct and supervision of their guests, especially minors.
• Ultrazone is not liable for any accidents, injuries, or damages that occur during birthday parties or special events, including those resulting from negligence or misconduct.
• Hosts of birthday parties or special events will communicate any specific safety guidelines or rules to their guests and ensure compliance with all facility policies.
• Ultrazone reserves the right to terminate or cancel a birthday party or special event in the event of safety concerns, misconduct, or failure to comply with facility rules and regulations.
• Ultrazone does not provide daycare or any form of direct supervision.

Right to Refuse Service and Maintain a Safe Environment:

• Ultrazone reserves the right to refuse service and ask any individual to leave the premises.
• Our priority is to maintain a safe and family-friendly environment.
• Any violations of the code of conduct or other behavioral issues, including damage, offensive activity, or any negative conduct not specifically listed, may result in your immediate removal from the premises. Determinations of negative behavior are at the discretion of Ultrazone. No refunds will be provided in the event of removal due to such behavior.

Inclusivity Statement

• Ultrazone does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, gender expression, age, national origin, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status. All individuals are welcome and encouraged to participate in our activities.

Media Release:

• Ultrazone may use photographs or video taken at Ultrazone for promotional purposes. If you do not agree with your photo being used, please notify Ultrazone staff upon entering the facility.

Parental or Guardian Consent:

• If you are under 18 years old, inform your parents or guardians about these rules and obtain their permission to play.

Acknowledgment & Acceptance of Terms:

• Booking a special event and/or your presence on-site signifies your acceptance of these terms and conditions. If you do not agree, we kindly request that you immediately exit the building. Thank you. Should you have any questions or uncertainties regarding these terms, please do not hesitate to speak with a staff member before participating. It's important to understand these terms fully, so please refrain from participating until you receive a clear and satisfactory understanding of these terms.

Modification of Terms:

• Ultrazone reserves the right to change, alter, or update these terms and conditions at any time for any reason at the sole discretion of Ultrazone. Participants will be notified of any changes to the terms and conditions by posting the new terms and conditions on the website www.clackamasultrazone.com. No emails or updated notifications will occur. Continued participation in parties, special events, other onsite activity or laser tag activities constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
• Any modifications to the terms and conditions will be effective immediately upon posting to the website.

Participants at Ultrazone are acknowledging the importance of maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for all. By agreeing to the terms and conditions outlined in the waiver, they commit to the rules, treating others with respect, and taking responsibility for their actions and behaviors. Additionally, they understand that by agreeing to these terms, they may be waiving certain rights and indemnifying Ultrazone. If you do not understand or do not agree with these terms, please do not play laser tag or participate in any activity at Ultrazone.
